Hi, I have taught fetchmail to specify the character encoding for the body of (localized?) charset issues, please test. It works for me with ISO-8859-15 and UTF-8 on Linux, I'll need to test on FreeBSD 5 which names character sets without dash between ISO and 8859 for instance. Remaining issues (I don't have time to work on this now, if someone wants to take a stab at this, feel free, just mention you're working on it): 2/3. write (or take and integrate) RFC-2047 encoder/folder for the headers. 3/3. figure if nl_langinfo(CODESET) always specifies IANA-conformant character sets or if we need to map these and possibly quench the translation for those that aren't OK'd by IANA.
