I patchd transact.c and removed the line that discards the messages in this case, and then I tried again. It happens that my postfix+maildrop configuration accepts the message, and rewrites a new (partial) set of headers for it. But this is just postfix: probably, other SMTP servers would react differently. > Please keep list traffic on the list.
