As you asking - is it possible to stop a user directly connecting to the remote POP server? That, and the configuration of your local mail server, is nothing to do with fetchmail. To achieve that you'll need to configure your firewall to only allow the host running fetchmail access to the POP server. -- Please keep list traffic on the list.
