Well, that's generally a good idea (or at leasts the host needs to have DNS resolution working). I can't see why you'd want to disable DNS lookups, but you obviously have your reasons. Possibly alternatively, ensure that postfix/Zimbra know to accept the mail for xyz.com. -- Please keep list traffic on the list.
