No. You're likely having a misconfigured fetchmail, and probably also an
older version - else you'd probably have seen it bitch about a missing
envelope option.

This does indeed help.  Be sure to properly configure the envelope and
perhaps qvirtual options, and use a recent version, 6.3.4 or 6.3.6-rc4.
