FemFind is a crawler and search engine for SMB shares (provided by Samba/Unix or Windows) and FTP servers. The crawler maps the filesystem structure of your shares to a MySQL database. Then, the Web interface or a Windows client can be used to quickly locate any file on the network.

FemFind can now be used as standalone FTP or SMB crawler. Fixed some minor bugs. This will be the stable release for some time, the next release will contain some drastic changes.

Crawling of hidden shares can now be disabled, improved logging, plus a few minor changes.

FemFind now has an install script that will do most of the setup for you. More options have been
added and robustness has been improved.
