before excuse my english.

i use only the ftp engine.
if some occasion i need the crawler start on one
specific diretory
and ignore parent directorys for most speed in indexes
and
ignore other files and other causes.
if in the future you can add in web interfece when add
ftp
other option for add a diretory for start the indexes
in this diretory
i think this product going to be much better.

shortage(imho) in web interface one option for manager
ftp list, showing status of last crawler attemp, delete
ftp's...

Crawlers if perhaps a bit slow, but this isn't a
problem for me.

btw i think is a nice product (i don't know other open
source).
