The validator does not accept certain dates which are
valid RFC-822 dates, such as "[...] GMT +0100" (=dates
where the local timezone offset is given)" - the
validator requires a simple "GMT".

    Section 5.1 of RFC 822 is very specific. You can include
    "GMT" or a timezone offset from UT, but not both.
