What I am looking for is a software that checks for changes in some URLs and just display a popup window over the system tray, one popup for each new RSS news it found there (it may display one after another). It could ring a sound too (by PC speaker or sound card). The popup window must stay opened until I close it. What I want to see in the popup window is the post date and time, title and the news body. I want to be able to click the message and open it in my default browser. The interface must be clean and light. Well, what I really need is something not an RSS aggregator, but a notifyer to use with my own websites. For example, when somebody fill a form in my website, I generate a RSS data in some URL and it will popup a note for everybody in my LAN or for some specific person. I must be able to choose the refresh time for each feed from 1 minute to how much I want (so I can use several minutes for true RSS feeds and few minutes for my own things). I want also versions of it for Windows and Linux. Do you know any reader that works just like that?
