Some other persons wanted this kind of thing, too. I have thought about two possibilities (or both at the same time). 1) IF there ise importfeeds.xml file in the feedreader directory and no feeds.xml file (feedreader is installed and not started yet) then feedreader should use this file to import some feeds for user. So all we need is customised install package and no customised Feedreader version for this thing. 2) Another possibility is to develop a special command line option for url, from where feedreader should import feeds first time. This is good for portals and stuff. Again this can be customised in install package and no source customisation is necesary. Another thing is with different colors and stuff... About this we should think a little bit more...
