happy coming new years eve alltogether ;o) I wrote that I have a problem with the toolbar - it now occurs each time I open feedreader, see here. http://www.gnak.de/pix/feedreader1.jpg Another thing: Although I've told it in properties to open maximized, it does ignore it and opens on a space that's perhaps 1/4 of my screen. Plus I had yesterday the first crash on xp - it just closed on 'jump to next unread' - I could imagine that it might have had a problem dealing with either stress (I was some days not around and do have a lot of feeds) or more plausible I was just jumping to a feed which was updated that moment. All I did was 'mark all read', 'jump to next' and on some messages 'open in browser'. Cause I allready had gone through a lot of my feeds I was slightly grumpy to see that all already catched feeds had to be catched again and my marks have gone. It would be nice to have a button / a command someday 'do save now as you would if closing' now back to the mail of Karsten >> Thing with Ctrl-R is - it's not that reachable with one hand if you want to >> just use the keyboard. :o) Suggestion: cause we do have a better focus view >> etc, why not make a single key read with spacebar? This is usual in many >> news/mailreaders. >> > > >If the focus is on the headlines, then space should mark all headlines >read, or jump to the next? jump to next unread message. >What if the focus is not on the headlines? Same. What does it do now if not on headlines? ;o) Only exception: If focus in browser, Space has meaning of page down (as you can see: kind of 'jump to next unread' also.) >> It seems to be a different one than before. Not always flashyflashy on mark >> read but sometimes it does not refresh the list fast enough when reading a >> new fead. I will see if I get more on this :o) > >So it flashes if you switch to another feed? and if I mark all read. But different then before: the headlines do not roll up - flash - roll down read but just flash. :o) Nicole -- http://www.useful-sounds.de/ - http://beissholz.de |
