I think that a good framework to rewrite feedreader it's: GUI ----> GTK > Available in many = systems, like Windows and Linux :D (Maybe vdkBuilder, or one of this) Bussines logic ----> ANSI C++ > Compatible With cross-platform = compiler. Data Acces ----> XML > Using already. =20 And THE compiler to do this is Mingw32 (on windows, gcc for the Linux = users) This make feedreader available in two worlds. Maybe This can be a Parallel Version of the actual Delphi develop. I'm very interesting in this, if u plain to do it, please, let me know = about it. =20 Regards!. QliX=3DD! Asunto: Feedreader post on our Community Blogging Blog Hi Tom, I just wanted to let you know that I am using Feedreader and I wrote a = small entry on it in our Community Blogging Blog here: http://www.CommunityIntelligence.co.uk/blogs/building/archives/000043.ht= ml <http://www.CommunityIntelligence.co.uk/blogs/building/archives/000043.h= tml> You may be interested in this blog which explores all kinds of = technology to better understand community blogs. Feedreader is looking real good, I just wish: * It would crash my subscriptions file=20 * It would take up less memory=20 Are you thinking of rewriting this natively in C++ or C# for Windows ? Maybe a cross-platform implementation on something like TCL would be = nice too ! Let me know if I can help in anyway ok ?
