Is this the error message you get? "Couldn't fetch http stream"?
Then there is something badly wrong.
I will check this and add some more messages to find the position where 
it fails.

It would help me more if you would dig debug code into why I do get 

access violation at address 00402290 in module feedreader.exe write of
address 20677552

hmm after clicking some of them away - seems as if this is related to the
'running down all blogs' error.

as said before - if you like you can give me a version with
errorlogsettings if it helps [and as long as it is not popups but textfile
you write them to ;o)]

Any luck? I am running into either blanked feeds, access violations or just
crashes for a few days now after some minutes. You can't read feeds this
way. :o(

- deleted Toolbarsettings.bin
- headlines.xml is emptied 
- checked feeds / subscriptions in IE but it gives no errors.
