Export opml works, import works - but not with the file feedreader has

This is not a stable version :o(((
Has problem if I switch back from another application to it to display the
toolbar. It runs through my feeds in a very fast tempo but does not really
update them. Has marked all my feeds read (and it does not come back like
it did the other time.)

If I click on any feed, the headline view is not updated - this is buggy
:o((

Has icon in systray plus icon in taskbar at the same time. When pressing
close, it does not close?! Had to kill it via taskmanager.

Sorry, this is not to be released!

It's interesting. I have the same symptoms... And not in last version,
i have earlyer version. Of course we cannot release this, i'll try to

the last really good working version is 621 (which has this windows size
problem but the rest works.)

from 627 to 630 something heavily has changed.

In case it helps, I could test perhaps a version without opml import /
export to see if this has any problems?

The last version to which i have committed code to was 627.
Then Toomas did an update to cvs on ... hm, this email is saved on the 
pc ;). But i think it was on monday.
I just updated my sandbox and build a new version. This is build
630. I didn't looked at the code, so i can't tell what changed.

hm. did go back to 617 and had this happening!

perhaps it is not made to handle this much feed information?!

toomas, how many feeds do you have?

my headlines.xml is about 13 mb.

It does update feeds at the top of the list but not if you go down the
list. if you do it manually, they do update.

the 'only update every xxx' seems to have some effect also. 

i still have the toolbarsettings in mind when things go wront, so I deleted
my toolbar.bin but it's the same.

On updates or when 'Mark all read'?

Do you mean it updates feed at the beginning and then stops somewhere 
down the list?
What do you mean with 'go down the list'? You start the update and then 
move through the feedlist?

This could be a hanging thread. We have this thread monitoring on the 
todo list. Looks like it go up in priority :)

I don't know if it stops or sth else but feeds lower on the list only
get updated if I go into this special feed and press 'update current
feed=C4

My feeds are ordered in folders. Top of the list, bottom. 'go down'
means 'further to the bottom of the list'.

hmm i would say after some feeds are updated then suddenly.=20
This also happened when I just said update and left it alone.

is there any way i can check the database for the feeds? I want to
avoid that it's a problem *there*

Open the XML-files in your Internet Explorer. If they show up without an 
error, the files themselve are ok.

My bet goes to the thread management somewhere. Toomas, did you change 
something in there? I haven't touched anything in there.

Hi!

By the way, I really have not changed anything. But then i'm looking at 
stalled feedreader, it looks like something is wrong at the very low 
level. On thing is that toolbar is missing and even if i click "exit 
program" and say "yes", it does nothing. And it does not respond to any 
keyboard events and stuff...

At the moment feedreader does not show any error messages (it's done 
this way). Maybe it's good idea to show error messages temporarely. Then 
at home i will look into this and release newer build with this capability.

One possible place for error is below. This change is done by me. What I 
wanted to do is to  have feedreader window bringed to front if it is 
behind other windows. Problem could be that if this procedure is called 
from thread then something goes wrong. Maybe we should get rid of 
following lines :
