Missing <title> breaks v2.5 b610
Brought to you by:
toomastoots
A valid rss 2.0 feed may contain items that have either
titles or description tags or both but not neither.
However, a missing title will cause FeedReader v2.5
b610 to enter some infinite loop (it seems). Even an
empty title (<title></title>) will break it.

Do you have an example for this behavior?

David,
the mail sent to you bounces. I tried to send you this mail:
-------------
Hi David.
I also see this behaviour in some feeds i read.
I attach a screenshot as an example.
If you see the same problem, here is a workaround until it
is fixed:
It seems that this happens when you click on a feeditem in
the treeview
in the left and then move the mouse so that FeedReader shows
the hint of
another feed. If the hint appears before the content of the
feed you
clicked on appears in the right listbox, FeedReader will
never show the
feeditems and the hints will look like in the screenshot.
Workaround:
1) Don't move the mouse over another feed until the
feeditems are
visible in the right listbox.
2) If you moved the mouse over another feed, click on
another feed, wait
until the items of this feed are visible and then click
again on the
feed you want to read.
I discovered the steps to reprocuce this error this morning.
The fix will be in the next release which will come soon.
If you like, i will send you a new pre-release exe for testing.
Regards,
Karsten

Whoops! The bug description is incorrect! The bug has to
do with the content of the description tag if the title tag is
missing. Here is an example of a feed that breaks
FeedReader. (See below.)
Notice that if the title is blank, then the description data is
used in the "Headline" field, and the html tags are probably
problematic.
