The Letter "z"
Brought to you by:

I'm using Feedreader to check the latest "forum posts"
at my site (I'm a Developer of WebAPP and hope to
improve this section of our script).
Using the view of the "message" I posted a reply,
everything was fine except when I typed the letter "z"
into the textarea, the display changed to "full screen".
It wasn't a major problem (I just changed what i was
going to write!) but maybe this could be chnged to "Ctrl
z" or the usual F11?
Thanks!
Floyd

I've encountered this, too. There'a s workaround, just type
"z" twice quickly (like a "doubleclick"), it will appear in
the text. But moving the fullscreen option to a function key
would indeed be better.

This problem was fixed some months ago ;)

Sorry, the problem seems to be not quite fixed yet.
I am using the latest (?) Feedreader version 2.6 Build 632
as of 13.03.2004 17:06:00. German Translation. Microsoft
Internet Explorer 6.0 Service Pack 1 (German) @ Microsoft
Windows XP Professional Service Pack 1 (German).
German standard PS/2 keyboard @ IBM NetVista 6579. German
codepage.
The "doubleclick z key" solution dos not help, still no "z"
in listboxes, text fields a. o.
Installation is not an update from any previous versions of
feedreader. Clean install.
Any suggestions, comments or bugfixes?
THX in advance.

I don't use FR with blogs. Do you have an URL so that i can
test this?

The update funtion in Feedreader tells me there's no new
version available... (probably because that one is
"unoffical")...

@torsdag:
Yes, thats because the version that are provided there are
unofficial versions. Thats why FR doesn't recognize them
@nobody:
You are right, doesn't work (checked with heise). I will look
into this. Thx.

@khoffrath: I see. :)
@nobody: You're right - in the newer version, the z-key is
completely dead, the "doubleklick" doesn't work.
