On 2.5 beta 567: the proxypassword pop that used
to appear on launch when running feedreader is not
appearing anymore. I can't use the software since I
need to authenticate to go through the password.
There is a workaround to this. I'm using build610, so I don't
know if it works in 567. Each time you shut down and restart
feedreader, you'll have to do this to enter your proxy
password:
Go to Properties, Connection tab. Simply click OK (no
changes necessary), and the password dialog box will pop
up. Enter your password and you're good to go.

you can workaround that issue on v2.5 build 610 as follows:
create a reg_sz value named "ProxyPassword"
in HKCU\Software\Feedreader\Properties
fill in the desired password...
disadvantage: its plain text :-(

problem:
On 2.5/610 the proxy password is only asked, when I leave
the properties dialog (so on initial setup, but not on normal
use).
solution: check the proxy-password on startup or on 1st
connect
additional: the proxy-password is displayed in plain text. use
a password-bot therefor.

Same thing.
You can use the software, though. Go to Options and setup
proxy settings again. It will help till you will need to restart
application. Bizzare !
