It seems that alpha2.5 B610 does not properly (not at
all) save preferences on Windows 2000. On every restart
I have to re-set all parameters including proxy settings.

I am not administrator on this machine and probably the
preferences are saved somwhere where I do not have
write access.

I am administrator of one of the machines I'm using it on, and
it does not work there, too.

    Hi all,

    i had the same problem.

But since yesterday i find the real way.

Check in Properties on tab General the box under misc
called 'Get proxy seetings from IE on startup'.

On next startup of feedreader, the proxy settings are fine.

Well, as stated in previous bugreports, you have to
completely shutdown before some settings (e.g proxy) get's
saved. Shutting down Windows or closing dialog doesn't do
    the trick.
