Proxy password is not remembered, nor prompted for,
the next time I start FeedReader.
Version: 2.5 build 610. Windows binary dist.
I start FeedReader, config my proxy url and
UID/password, then subscribe to feeds, and successfully
update my feeds. I then shut down FeedReader. I
restart it, then click the "Update" button. The feed
icons in the treeview get updated with red X marks, and
the tooltip text says there was an authentication error,
but no other prompt or error occurs.
I think that FeedReader should either cache my
password (encrypted, of course), or it should prompt for
a password on startup, or optionally at the time of the
first update. My workaround now is that, every morning
when I come in and log in (FeedReader starts in my
system tray automatically), I have to bring up
FeedReader, click on the Properties dialog and click OK,
at which point I am prompted for my password. If I
forget to manually force this, FeedReader will sit there
for hours, not downloading updates....
