#376 Proxy not working in 3.0beta4

I'm having a great deal of difficulty getting
FeedReader to connect to any sites. I'm behind a proxy
server at work, and Internet Explorer is correctly
configured to access external sites.

However, when I click "Get settings from Internet
Explorer, only two values are changed: the Address
(which is set to "ftp=[server]", where [server]
represents my company's server) and port (which is set
to "80", which is wrong).

In truth, the correct settings should be "[server]" and
"8080". However, correcting the settings has no effect
on my ability to connect. I'm similarly unable to
connect even when I input my username and password.
I've even tried entering my username with
"Domain\username" as well as just "username".
