#312 popup does not display correctly

The popup window does not always display when new feeds
have arrived. The icon in the task bar goes from grey
to red, but no popup are showing up.
in my options i have "show popup window on taskbar"
selected.

i haven't been able to identify the exact conditions
for which the popup does not display, but i noticed
another weird behavior, which is when the window is
open it seems to lose the focus very quickly. For
example if i click on the menu i can only see it for 1
second before it closes automatically...

running verion 2.90
running windows xp sp2
