#274 Viewing news in FR 2.90 does not work - problem with proxy?

I cannot view news from ***within*** FR 2.90. To view
them I must open them in an external browser window.
I'm using an authenticating proxy to access the net. This
bug is new, FR 2.76 worked fine.

Specifically:
-i can't see logos (for feeds that use them.) Instead, I see
the empty box with the red square typical of corrupted or
not available images;
-when I click on the links to read news, nothing happens.

Using FR 2.76, when I accessed a feed with a logo or
read news (for the first time since starting the program),
the standard Internet Explorer prompt appeared asking
me the username and password for the proxy. Username
and password were then retained until I quit the program.
FR 2.90 does not shows the prompt and fails silently.

Username and data specified in options are correct, as
FR is able to update feeds through the authenticating
proxy.

I'm having exactly the same issue.

Previously I was using v 2.80 RC2 and it all worked fine (just
prompted you for your authenticating proxy password).

I also tried the configuration option to "Open Links in New
Browser Window" but that fails to work also.
