Hi, I've been using Feead Reader for quite some while
with no major problems. But starting last week It
crashes very often, almost every hour. It throws an
Windows Error Message - about not finding headlines an
another one about writting an particular area of memory.
"Error saving headlines! Access violation at
adress0051B10C in module "feadreader.exe". Read of
address 00000008".

I have been using 2.7, the latest build. I have
uninstall it and reinstall it, but I got the same
problem. Now I have the same problem with 2.8RC2.

I'm positive that it's not FeadReader problem since it
should work fine after a new install, not to mention
after an upgrade.

I have WinXP SP1 with some upgrades of SP2 and I am
using Kaspersky Pro and Kerio Personal Firewall.

I have crashes with FeedReader very often too. It was
chrashing with previous versions and also with latest. My
computer is totally stable for all other applications. I have XP
SP2 too, using Windows firewall and another AV (not
    kaspersky).
It crashes so randomly and with different error types.
Feedreader was reinstalled few times here, no help.
Feedreader is nice application with good user interface.
    But, I hate those crashes.

I have the same problem.. mine doesnt even load.. it
completes around 35% of the loading bar initially and then
just hangs.. i have to kill the process.. it was working fine
until few weeks ago and i absolutely found the program
amazing.. i would be very grateful if this can be sorted.. all
other applications are running fine. i am not running any
firewalls or anything.. i have a ADSL connection.

Perhaps its failing to parse one of your feeds correctly.
or is receiving a badly formatted xml from a feed.

Try renaming the below file to another name so feedreader
cannot located it and open it as it starts. Or edit it so it
    contains only one feed.

(Of course, renaming it back to its original name will restore
    your subscriptions)

    C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application
    Data\Feedreader\subscriptions.xml
