Suggest keeping a backup of the feeds xml on every update
and cleans them up on (proper) exit.. if the app starts and
finds the backup a restore is offers

Got this, too.
I had an error message about Feedreader not being able to
open the xml file because it is used by another process and
then all feeds were gone. :-(

I've got a simular problem. Every time I shut down the
program and start it up again I lose all my feeds... I've
stopped using it for now, because I have to re-enter all of my
feeds every time. If anybody has a solution I really would like
to know...

I see this as well. I just rebooted my computer and when
Feedreader opened all of my feeds were gone.

My feed subs are also disappearing when I have more than 10
in my 'My feeds' folder.
What gives!?
