Invisible headlines in notification box

The headlines in the notification box are invisible...
or so it seems. They actually are there -- just in a
white font.
If you click in the box, and you manage to click on a
headline it becomes visable (as just-clicked link).
I'm running 2.7 build 646 on Win XP Pro sp2.

It seems to me that the color used for the text in the
notification box is the same color that one selected as the
Windows Background Color (the global setting, not a setting
that is available in Feedreader!).

I don't know if the problem is exactly the same as mine, but I
can't read the headlines in the notification box because they
are too faint to be legible, blending in with the background
color of the notification box. Surely this would be an EASY
fix???? Just change the font color to black??????????????.

is there a fix for this? It makes Feedreader pretty much
unusable
