In the feed hierarchy, if the name of the feed is longer
than visible and you use the slidebar to slide back and
forth, then the first and last characters "stick".

So seemingly the text isnn't cleaned out prior to plotting
the new one. Typically the last character is repeated
(depending on the scroll direction this is the first or last
character in the string).

It seems odd that this error hits what to me looks like a
standard component, but it does for me.
