#107 Items don't remain in folder, folder can't be deleted

I have added a folder within a folder, but the two
items (feeds) in the subfolder don't remain there -
once FeedReader is shut down and restated, the items
have been moven one level up, the subfolder is empty.

Secondly, that empty folder cannot be deleted in V 2.6
build 633 it can be renamed (impossible in V 2.5), but
deletion is still impossible.

I don't know if the code for the xml backend supports folder-
in-folder. Have to check it.

It seems not to. The silly thing is, I could create the
folder but now can't delete it... oops! :-)

Close FR.
Find the file "subscriptions.xml" in
C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Application
Data\Feedreader.
Make a copy of this file. Open the original file it with your
texteditor.
Search for the foldername. Must be something like
<title>FOLDERNAME_HERE</title>
Delete the while <item>...</item> where you found the
foldername.
Restart FR.
The folder should be gone.

The file "subscriptions.xml" is in the folder
C:\WINDOWS\Anwendungsdaten\FeedReader
