Hi Peter,
 
Here's an idea: Maybe your fedora.fcfg is set to something other than the default values for the resource index:
 
If you look at the end, you should see a "datastore" element with id "localKowariTriplestore".  Among the other values, you should see "serverName" and "modelName".  These should be set to "fedora" and "ri", respectively.  Are they?
