We will do a controlled test of Fedora on an average
hardware setup to test performance at different
benchmark levels (200k, 500k, and 1 million objects).
We will focus tests in these areas:
3. Default Repository Search (Resource Index)
We plan to publish our performance results on the
Fedora web site to provide benchmark data.
If bottlenecks or delays are found we will tune the
repository sofware via several techniques:
1. Code modifications
2. RDBMS indexing
3. Caching strategies
4. Repository clustering and load balance

we want to do this after the new authN/authZ modules are
implemented to measure performance with this overhead
