I believe always sending files as client would be
acceptable, with the workings similar to that of netcat.
This ofcource would imply that you cant start sending files
until the server, or recceiving side, is active.
Maybe there is place for yet another feature. a timeout, if
the client starts sending before the server is active? Or
better, select recciever not just by IP but maybe from a
list. Im thinking checking the network neighbourhood for
eden servers.

Of course they could. But then the question is: "which will
be the default, server or client?"
