I guess that's the issue here, The header is missing. In my results, the PS file would start with: /angle 0 def 225.38 -31.37 T gsave angle rotate -16.22 7.65 T I added a header of the example posted on the project page. And the image rendered a large part of it and showed an error at some point. But at least it worked. I will look further into it in the upcoming days. Greetings, I am currently using lgp 6.0.a to plot the graph of kernels 2.4.37 and 2.6.27. The simulation runs fine, and I get a final output in both cases, image.ps. My problem is, I am unable to view that file, is there any special tool to do so? I checked the file type using "file" command and the result is the following: On 2.4 I get (image.ps, size 36.4mb): $ file image.ps image.ps: ASCII text On 2.6 I get: (image.ps, size 91.2mb) $ file image.ps image.ps: Clarion Developer (v2 and above) data file, memo file exists, 172826672 records None of the PS viewing software are working ofcourse, nor it's a clarion database, Any Idea how to solve this, or where to go next? Best regards, --Mohammad Qasem |

Dear Open Source developer I am doing a research project on "Fun and Software Development" in which I kindly invite you to participate. You will find the online survey under http://fasd.ethz.ch/qsf/. The questionnaire consists of 53 questions and you will need about 15 minutes to complete it. With the FASD project (Fun and Software Development) we want to define the motivational significance of fun when software developers decide to engage in Open Source projects. What is special about our research project is that a similar survey is planned with software developers in commercial firms. This procedure allows the immediate comparison between the involved individuals and the conditions of production of these two development models. Thus we hope to obtain substantial new insights to the phenomenon of Open Source Development. With many thanks for your participation, Benno Luthiger PS: The results of the survey will be published under http://www.isu.unizh.ch/fuehrung/blprojects/FASD/. We have set up the mailing list fa...@we... for this study. Please see http://fasd.ethz.ch/qsf/mailinglist_de.html for registration to this mailing list. _______________________________________________________________________ Benno Luthiger Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich 8092 Zurich Mail: benno.luthiger(at)id.ethz.ch _______________________________________________________________________ |

I suppose you're talking about fcgp/lgp? :) Theoretically it's very easy - adapting the definitions of RING1 to RING4= =20 in the Makefile should suffice. If you want it to look a bit nicer, adapt= =20 the code for getting the correct kernel version (rule for title.ps in the= =20 Makefile) as well. --=20 Christian Reiniger Those who will not reason, are bigots, those who cannot, are fools, and those who dare not, are slaves. - George Gordon Noel Byron (1788-1824), [Lord Byron] |

Update: indent fixes the problems rather nicely. Perhaps adding a=20 for i in `find $KERNEL_DIR -type d`; do indent $i/*.c done will do the trick. Concrete example: kernel 2.4.13, file drivers/usb/storage/shuttle_usbat.c function opening braces are not on a line on their own. That throws our=20 finding algorithm completely off balance. Perhaps I'll spend some time on= =20 replacing it with a flex-based solution, but I don't have much time for=20 that... --=20 Christian Reiniger LGDC Webmaster (http://lgdc.sunsite.dk/) "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world...
