I have had 2 incidents where the emulator screen (Windowed) remains black after loading a ROM. The emulator is still running since sound works, and the hex display is showing activity. The first fix for this, I reinstalled FCEUX, but several days later and I get the same thing. I tried reinstalling again, but this time it wont work.

What operating system are you using? Can you by and chance provide some steps to try to reproduce this?

your video driver and/or operating system is junk. or possibly youre hitting a hotkey youre not aware of and reinstalling fceux is whacking the configfile. i recommend waiting for it to happen again and then comparing the configfile

OS is Win7 64bit. The problem is happening right now, and cannot be rectified with a reinstall. Will try updating video drivers, but it seems odd that it can work one moment and suddenly not...

closing, this is likely an os/video driver issue and we have no way of reproducing this

The emulator does not work on any other monitor besides your primary moniter. (for me at least)
