Perhaps the encoding of the packet is wrong - and the FireBrick ignoring it?
We could do a couple of things. You could setup a tunnel for me, let me
have the key and firebrick IP (offlist), and I could try from my end to
bring a tunnel up with your FireBrick.
We could also see if you could bring up a tunnel to mine. Drop me a note,
and we'll sort something out - so we can find where the problem lies.
I'm in the process of adding some debug code to fbtunnel - so it will dump
the details of packets sent and received. That should help with debugging.
