I have two identical 1280x1024 LCD screens running in Xinerama mode.=20
I only want fbpanel to run on the right side monitor. I am currently
able to do this by specifying the following in my ~/.fbpanel/default
allign =3D right
widthtype =3D percent
width =3D 50
That works perfectly. It puts the entire panel on my right side
monitor so I am able to fully maximize windows on the left monitor
with no problem.
My question though is how to place the tray on the far right side of
the right monitor and have the launchbar on the far left side of the
right monitor. I just want those two panel pieces. I don't want the
pager, or a menu, or a taskbar.
On the far left of the right monitor, I just want a half dozen or so
icons for programs I frequently access such as e-mail, web browser,
terminal, etc... Then I want empty space all across the bottom until
I get to the tray option which I want to be right justified against
the far right side of the right monitor.
I thought about running two instances of fbpanel (since there is an
option to specify the profile). But I can't think of a way to do what
I want by running two instances. I can't left allign either instance
because that will put fbpanel on my left monitor - and I don't want
Maybe if there is a way to tell fbpanel to start at +1280 pixels, and
*then* left allign from that point, that should work. But I don't see
any options for anything like "startat =3D 1280"
I would rather run 1 panel instance anyway. So if there's a way to do
this with 1 panel, that would be ideal.
