Okay, the new version is out.
It has the BombRun-mode now implemented (sorry, had no time to get the FFA-Ladder done) :(
Grab the new version, unzip, check the config (besides the IP and the PWD there are now 2 new options) ;)
Have fun - (and if you find bugs, report them) - W75
Thanks to the WTE-pilots there is a scripting tool available for the designers:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/fbmc/FBMCScripterv0.97b.zip?download
Please check it out, it makes your life much easier ;)
There is also a new forum for FBMCS-related stuff available now.
Enjoy !
There is a very early v0.8-version available:

Happy feedbacking !
I added some new members to the project.
Not all of them are active C++-developers, but all can contribute somehow. Developer-status gives access to non-public forum for a better discussion-platform.
Thanks to all who contribute.
Working on v0.8 I first changed all the interna and now we can have multiple game-modes within FBMC.
What does that mean ?
FBMC can assist you on running a Smoker/Tag-game !!
Why _smoker_ ?
The pilot in the charge, who is "it", has to turn wingtip-smoke on to make this game work.
Rules:
On pilot is the _smoker_, all others try to shoot him (and only him). _smoker_ may shoot anybody and gets points for doing so. If someone kills _smoker_, the killer becomes the next _smoker_ and turns wingtip smoke on.... read more
Okay, here we go, the version 0.7 is finally out.
I consider it as "semi-stable" ;)
Try it out, should work fine now.
Feedback as always : WELCOME !
In the "Open Discussions"-forum there are some infos for the interested.
As always: any help and comment welcome !!!
May the force be with you - S! - W75
PS: we need a better manual (for both pilots (important) and designers) ;)
The adding of features for release v0.7 has come to an end.
Now its bug-track time and most work is put into details.
Expect the v0.7 final soon :)
For helping admins and interested developers there is a v07dev-build1092 release. Check out the forum.....
Today the v0.6 was released, both including a Linux-compatible source-code and a FBProxy to run the tool on a remote computer...
Feedback very welcome !
Got the idea to make the FBMC run under Linux.
And 2 hours later: job done :D
Now you can run the FBMC on your Linux-box, taking some workload off your game-host.
However, we still have to evaluate wether the FBMCProxy causes more stutter than the FBMC itself ..
Today the 1st public version of FBMC is released.
I do not plan to call it "alpha" or "beta", since it will always be in a state of development/enhancement and debugging.
Lets call it version 0.5 ;)
Admins who want to try it out are very welcome.
Today SF approved my project, so I'll checking the code into the CVS repository at SF.
Homepage will be up soon, and the first alpha will be released within a week.
