#2 unable to install fblend under linux ( assembler error )

Hi!

I am having problems installing fblend under linux. I
followed the instructions in the readme-file but during
"make", it throws up this error:

gcc -x assembler-with-cpp -c src/x86/2xstretch.s -o
obj/unix/release/x86/2xstretch.o -I. -Isrc -Iinclude
src/x86/2xstretch.s: Assembler messages:
