Project Status

FAWCET's e-commerce system is pretty much complete. However since the people who had me developing their e-commerce site and I decided to go our seperate ways, I don't know that much will get done beyond this point on e-commerce. I'm kinda burned out on everything dealing with that topic, so once I make sure I've got the major bugs ironed out of the system I'll upload the next release.

After that I'll be focusing more on graphical content delivery and some unique ideas I've had lately. Hopefully some of these additions will start giving this project a bit more life and make it more useful to people. I know that practically no one looks at this page or uses the files so this is falling on no one's ears but, oh well.... read more

Lack of updates...

I really DO intend to update more often but FAWCET is in a state of flux right now esp. with the e-commerce section I'm building into it. It's ugly enough I don't want people to see it for fear I'll be stoned :). I'm also currently coding an e-commerce site (for money, have to pay the bills) and that limits how much functionality I can add to FAWCET at one time. I'm trying to get some other coders on the project so I can start offloading some of the work and maybe the project can start going places... hopefully something happens there. :)... read more

0.1.5 is up

There might be some issues with the source but I'm right in the middle of a major overhaul. I've started documenting things but unfortunately, it's going slow. Read the README for install instructions.

Project is actually advancing

Yes I am working on the project. I'm currently trying to incorporate e-commerce functions to allow people to quickly build an e-commerce site/shopping cart systems with a few simple calls to FAWCET functions.

Well It's started

Due to the urging of friends I finally put my source for FAWCET, my web engine I developed a year and a half ago online. I doubt many will have much they can do with this 'cause it's so old (built on PHP 4.0 and Mysql 3.23) but hopefully when I get some time I'll start bringing the source back up to speed and get some better documentation out.

Until then read the source. :)
