(fast)jar xf foo.jar CORRUPTION
Brought to you by:
toast
Conditions:
(fast)jar.exe 0.92, cygwin (updated in the last 30 days or
so)
Summary: Extraction of java class files produces corrupt
targets.
Using a verified source .jar archive built with Sun's jar:
fastjar xf myjava141classes.jar
extracts class files that are corrupted, with a carriage
return (x0D) inserted in front of every linefeed (x0A).
Is fastjar somehow confused about what is a text file?
Sun's jar does not have this problem.
