    pbuchheit - 2013-02-28

I'm really looking forward to trying out this project, but so far I can't seem to get it to work. I followed the install instructions and everything seemed to work. When I try to actually select a template from the menu (FastCode->Templates) I get an error saying 'template not found'. Also tried using the ctrl-alt-shift-t shortcut and nothing happened. In addition, when I look at the preferences under Window->preferences->FastCode->Templates->Templates there is nothing listed.

I tried both of the solutions mentioned in the FAQ (removing/ re-adding the jar and deleting the DOCTYPE from the templates-config.xml) and it made no difference. I'm out of ideas at this point, can someone help me out?

    Environment:
    Ubuntu Linux 12.04
    Eclipse Helios SR2

    Hi,

    Please let us know
1.) what version of the plugin you are using
2.) please start eclipse with eclipse.exe -consolelog, and send us any exceptions that come up on the console

    1) using the latest version (1.6.0)
    2) The console log is the same as what I posted above.

I also tried to install the plugin in a clean install of eclipse 4.2 and had the exact same results.

Some additional stack traces. This is what I'm seeing in the logs when I try to open the FastCode preferences menu:

    Hi,

A fix for the above issue is coming soon. Until then can you add an environmental variable "USERNAME", if it is not there already.
Please check if it will not affect any other thing, before you try to do this.

That seems to have fixed the problem. Thanks.
