Functional Architectures enable modeling systems independent of their target technology. Their systematic modeling with the FAS method requires several steps, some of them being determined by general rules. The FAS plugin for MagicDraw automates these steps, allowing the Architect to stay focused on those activities that require an Architect's expertise.

The FAS plugin for MagicDraw requires MagicDraw 17.0 or higher with an installed SysML plugin.

MagicDraw version 17.0.1 SP2 offers the plugin as a download from the vendor site via Resource / Plugin manager. Version 17.0.1 on the vendor site corresponds to version 1.0 here.
