Windows - Installing from Binaries

For Windows there is an installer for development. You can download it from the files section on sourceforge.net

The installer contains all necessary binaries, libraries and files for using FARSA and for developing new plugins and experiments. Hence, it's targeted to all users.

Before launching the installer, make sure the following softwares are correctly installed on your system:

• Visual Studio 2010
• Qt 4.8.x for Visual Studio 2010
• CMake

After installation of FARSA, the PATH environment variable has to be changed. Add to the PATH variable the directory where Qt 4.8.x has been installed (i.e.: C:\Qt\4.8\bin). Follow this guide if you don't know to do it.

WARNING: the binaries contained on the installer has been tested only with Visual Studio 2010 and Qt 4.8.x. If you need to use FARSA with newer version of Visual Studio and/or Qt than compile FARSA from sources
