When installing libfame on Gentoo (amd64), portage complains about some compiler warnings:

QA Notice: Package has poor programming practices which may compile fine but exhibit random runtime failures.
fame_rate_simple.c:104: warning: implicit declaration of function 'strlen'
fame_rate_1param.c:123: warning: implicit declaration of function 'strlen'
fame_motion_pmvfast.c:611: warning: implicit declaration of function 'memcpy'
fame_motion_pmvfast.c:1252: warning: implicit declaration of function 'memset'

QA Notice: Package has poor programming practices which may compile fine but exhibit random runtime failures.
fame_rate_simple.c:104: warning: incompatible implicit declaration of built-in function 'strlen'
fame_rate_1param.c:123: warning: incompatible implicit declaration of built-in function 'strlen'
fame_motion_pmvfast.c:611: warning: incompatible implicit declaration of built-in function 'memcpy'
fame_motion_pmvfast.c:1090: warning: incompatible implicit declaration of built-in function 'memcpy'
fame_motion_pmvfast.c:1170: warning: incompatible implicit declaration of built-in function 'memcpy'
fame_motion_pmvfast.c:1233: warning: incompatible implicit declaration of built-in function 'memcpy'

Please do not file a Gentoo bug and instead report the above QA issues directly to the upstream developers of this software.
