    I haven't noticed any issues with this thus far, I have only used the forest/cottage combo so far, but i have been able to gain all promos on 1 worker so far so it seems to be working well.

    It will be interesting in the future to see what other ideas we can apply to this.

    there may be an issue where workers gain experience over time, instead of just by building stuff.

    I am not 100% sure though, it just seems like my workers suddenly gain a level when I don't think I have done anything with them, just left them waiting to improve a tile while I save up the gold...

    It is not that big of a deal though.

    I have double checked the code and the places where experience is given to units outside combat are: initially training; popping goody huts; events; building improvements; via warlords.

    If your unit gained experience it must have been one of these as search of the python showed that it is only events and the Platy WorldBuilder that can change a units experience

    I probably just missed something, I am playing quick speed, so everything happens really fast anyway, so chances are I just missed the cause.

    It just seemed to happen a few times where I couldn't see any reason for it happening.

    I think we can close this ticket, as I haven't seen any problems with this (as far as I can tell) in several playthroughs.

    From now on it will just be expanding this feature to find new things for our intrepid workforce to get better at!
