Use MADS (https://mads.atari8.info ) to compile the sources using command:
mads.exe castledefender.asm -o:castledefender.xex

Levels for the game (levels/fk_levels.atrmap) are created using my Atari MapMaker 1.1 which you can find here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/atari-mapmaker/
