Hi, I stumbled upon fairuse from http://www.dvdrhelp.com.. and it is almost perfect for my needs (ripping my DVDs to Xvid for use on my RCA Lyra Audio video jukebox).. The only issue I've been having is that it seems Fair use is encoding the audio using (what appears to be) Average bit rate (ABR) and the lyra seems to currently only like videos with Constant Bit Rate audio tracks..  I have read through the FAQ and the readme and cannot find any mention of where I can set fair use create CBR audio tracks. I assume fairuse is using lame to convert it's audio tracks but lame's default is CBR.

I'm guessing then that this was an intentional decision to provide the best audio using the least space..

All this means that after Fair use is done I still need to reextract the audio convert it and then mux them back together again.

Is there a way I can get fair use to encode the audio with a CBR?

Hi, the new FU 0.34 release creates CBR audio streams to take care of this kind of issue.
