#5 General Fault

I used Faire Use since the beginning and I like it it is a
very good soft for making divx. Recently I have
purchase an external Box and put a brand new Lite On
DVD reader with combo cd-writer. The box dont need
any driver as it is recognise by my windows xp
professional with sp1 installed. when it come the time
to cache the procham chain index on the HDD its just do
a fatal error. here is my hardware :

120 G serial Ata
120 G USB 2.0 Box
USB 2.0 Box with a combo liteon dvd-cd burner
Video Card Ati Radeon 9700 128m
USB controler is an intel 82801
Lite ON Combo LTC-4816H

No aspi loaded

also the USB 2.0 external box is using an ALI chipset
so what I did is take of the box, and put the liteon dvd
as an internal regular dvd-combo and fairuse work fine in
this way so the problem seems to be oriented when
fairuse is trying to talk to the dvd when it is inside the
USB box,
