Hi Georgy, indeed it is just a warning, sarge-backports has 0.6.1-7bpo2 whenever this warning was corrected for in 0.6.1-10 present in unstable/etch. Since it is just a warning, I don't think that any action should be taken. At the end, sooner than later most recent 0.6 fail2ban will get into sarge-backports and you will not have this warning any more.
