We worked out a solution for this problem. Cyril will release it in 0.6
I believe and in debian it is already available in 0.5.4-5.14 release
(was uploaded this morning). So just wait or If you install it
from sources, then you can just grab them (with a patch) from:

http://itanix.rutgers.edu/rumba/dists/unstable/perspect/source/net/

there is .orig which is upstream (Cyril) latest release and .diff is my
debian "patch", which I believe should work on most linuxes as well
although no guarantee :-)
