Hi, it seems that headtracking isn't working at all. The only data it inputs are gazeX and gazeY. All the tutorials I see on youtube are based on the older version of the Tobii 4C plugin, so I guess the newest version could be the problem. Can you upload the older version as well?

    Hello Lorenzo,

If you have the Tobii 4C device, then the tracker you have seems to be correct. Did you get it through: http://facetracknoir.sourceforge.net/Trackers/Tobii4C.htm ?

Can you post a picture of the settings dialog?

Sure. I've tried everything, and all the people reviewing this plugin on flight simulator are using a different version that says "Tobii4C HeadEye & Tracker", while mine is called "Tobii4C Tracker", that's why I'm assuming there's an earlier version.

    Hello Lorenzo,

It's strange, but it should work with the latest version (of course). Maybe there is some version conflict going on.

Can you post a screenshot of the contents of the FaceTrackNoIR folder? I'm specifically interested in the FTNoIR_Tracker_???.dll files.

    Same issue...

Tried with then 203 plugin pack instead no change in behavior.. It tracks gase but not head angle... thinking it might be a problem with firmwares autoinstalled by tobii software?

It's hard to determine if the Tobii software influences this issue. I think it is wise to only install the Tobii4C tracker, if you not not have a Tobii5 device (and the other way around).

Can you post a screenshot of the FaceTrackNoIR folder, so I can see the file dates?

Will make a freshinstall and post a SC

There you go. I believe these are the same files.

By the way, there's a partial workaround that involves using the Tobii EyeX plugin. It kinda solves the issue but it's very hard to tune and therefore not really useful.

yes thats what ive been doing for a bit... but its hard when crossing over the top of the canopy... (flightsims) i really need the headtracking. will try your files in a bit:)

I'm also experiencing the same issues posted here. Using a freshly installed 4C with multiple plug-in versions, combinations, and reinstalls. It reliably gets Gaze X/Y but nothing else. I did notice that if I use the EyeX plugin that the pitch and yaw just move up and to the right perpetually.

Would love to get this working if you have any advice.

Good day! Has anyone found a solution to the head turning problem? Everything worked great before! And at one moment, for no reason, no reason stopped working. What to do? Why are the respected developers silent? how to solve this problem? I understand everything, I bought this program from you, although the money is not big, but still, what to do? Dear developers, I have already contacted here, but have not received an answer. The one who wrote above, I think too.

    • Jesper Viktorsson

Please lay that bs off... Ive dropped the tobii... it seems to be the tobii devteam that is at fault... they are badly integrated into everything... And for the money you paid for NoIR you can use one of the other trackers... Wich honestly is better than the tobii..

Yes, I understand that, but I only have Tobii)And before everything worked .. and once .. stopped it is not clear why)

i have the same problem only gazex & y values are changing ,all the other values are 0.A quick fix is to download and SetupFaceTrackNoIR_v201_TobiiEyeX plugin, install it, and use the tobii4c as ini, as a tracker source use tobiieyex instead of tobii4c tracker and game protocol facetrack2.1.

    • Jesper Viktorsson

Valid point... tried that but needed the headtracking not the eyetracking... Move over to strapping my phone to my head and running freepie

also one more point to add is that when i installed tobii4c plugin on Abbequerque Inc\FaceTrackNoIR_v200 path no other/new folder were created.but when i install the tobiieyex it creates the folder tobii with 2 files inside Tobii.EyeX.Client.dll and TobiiTracker.exe

      This might be it! @v4friend

Have you also tried the (old) EyeX tracker from the files section?

i found a solution for me. after the update to windows 11 the tobii C4 doesnt work with facetracknoir. Now i have uninstalled all tobii software and driver an only installed the Tobii Experience software v1.69 from the tobii gaming website. Now it works for me.
