Unfortuantely, I don't have access to any other computers, nor do I have a PS3Eye. Would it be a good idea to disable my firewall? It's Comodo, so it does a bunch of anti-virus type stuff as well.
Also, PointTracker works, it just doesn't have any points to track, really.

So, I disabled Comodo... and it did nothing. I'm not sure how to setup for PointTrack, so I could use some help with that. Do you have any suggestions? I don't mind doing DIY stuff.

So, I'm just here trying to get this working. I start up FaceTrackNoIR and everything's cool. I click start and I get this message.
I decide to have a look around and I start up FTNoIR_FaceAPI_EXE.exe in the FaceTrackNoIR folder, and then I get this:

Any suggestions?
Hi Marstruc,
You may also want to try the faceAPI demo first. You can find it here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/facetracknoir/files/redist/
Some more info would also not hurt. What OS, webcam, version(s) are you using?

OS: Windows 7
Webcam: MS LifeCam HD-3000
FaceTrackNoIR version: 1.7
I did try the demo, but it doesn't seem to work. Just comes up with the usual 'Not Responding' message.
Is anyone able to help with this?
Some software is blocking access to your webcam. Most of the times this is done by software that came with the webcam, or by faulty codecs.
First off, maybe you can try FaceTrackNoIR on another PC, or maybe with a PS3Eye?

PointTracker needs IR-points, so you should have an IR-setup and probably have to "fix" your webcam for that.
You can try to disable the firewall, but I do not expect much of that.
